Helvellyn May 2009

Here are some pics of when I was in the Lake District.

We walked/climbed Helvellyn on the Sunday and then on the Monday did Place Fell. Sadly on Monday it was raining hard and the wind was quite strong so no pictures of this.

The weather on for Helvellyn was excellent and the views were stunning. This was my first walk and I hadn’t even broken my boots in but made it no trouble. Well worth a go if your up for a challenge. I now need to find somewhere that can equal this!

Place Fell was a bit tiring as we were aching from the previous day but we soldiered on. Sadly the weather didn’t clear up so by the time we made it round to the end we were quite wet!!
